We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the sport of rowing at The Peterborough Rowing Club. We strive to offer programs that are diverse and inclusive for all, with opportunities at all levels of participation. All members, staff and volunteers have the right to an inclusive rowing environment, that is free of abuse, harassment and discrimination.

We will continue to listen to, and learn from, a range of communities to further our understanding of diversity and inclusion and to reduce barriers for all people.

… AND WE’RE MORE THAN JUST A ROWING CLUB
Being a member at the PRC means you belong to a large community of people who support each other and the club. Our club could not function without a dedicated community of volunteers who put in countless hours.

We always welcome new volunteers!  Areas of interest are as follows:

  • Coaching, umpiring, driving a safety boat

  • Maintaining the equipment or the boathouse

  • Organizing and helping with regattas hosted at PRC

  • Fundraising, advertising or social functions

  • Sitting on the Board or a committee

Do you have a particular interest or skill set? If so, please contact peterborough.rowing.club@gmail.com or a board member.

Thank you to everyone who shares their time and energy at the PRC.

The Peterborough Rowing Club acknowledge that where we train and row, we are on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe Peoples. We recognize the long history of First Nations and Métis Peoples in Ontario, and show respect to them.

Thank you for the continued support!
