TRENT UNIVERSITY ROWING

Trent University Rowing has been a signature sport at the university since the early 1970s. It is a legacy full of exceptional athletes and coaches, incredible rowing, and impressive success.

Being a Trent Rower carries with it equal parts prestige and responsibility. We train hard and are deeply committed to our goals - one of which is to uphold our values of perseverance and integrity.

We are honoured to row on the beautiful Otonabee River - a course considered by many champion rowers and coaches to be the most beautiful in Canada.

Our outstanding coaches have guided athletes in programs from learn-to-row, to roles on national and international teams. We always celebrate the success of Trent rowers and have been the training ground for many national and Olympic rowers.

We value our collaborative partnership with the Peterborough Rowing Club and together we have offered rowing opportunities to hundreds of people in the surrounding region.

We pride ourselves on being fierce competitors with a humble approach, and challenge all who meet us on the water to “Step Back Non-Believers”!
